[FEATURE REQUEST] Preview of linked image
I've made a feature request about this for a long time ago, but it seems to have vanished somewhere, so let's repeat.
Currently you can attach images in two ways: by linking and by copying. If you link, any changes you make to the image are there if you click the link to open the image. But there is no preview. If you copy, no changes are propagated from the original to the copy, but you get a preview.
Put a selection, a setting for the linked image to have it displayed in a map (perhaps in the context menu). And put a button to refresh the preview or all previews on a sheet or on the whole map.

I work on complex maps including many services and collaborators and I'm looking for a way to filter them by service and / or assignee so every involved person could have a personalized map on PDF.

CPU Usage is WAY too high
Hi, I'm writing to report that CPU usage in XMind 8 is so high that I cannot use the program. It's both laggy and causes issues with my computer. I have a 2014 macbook pro with more than enough horsepower to handle XMind. Something is wrong because it should not be using this much cpu.

When is the iOS version actually appearing?
I have anticipated the iOS version for some time now, ever since it was announced for the fall of 2016. We are now mid February 2017......When is it available?
Even the link to the announcement/beta site seems to give a 404 error..

Can't open a password protected file
Hi,
I am not able to open my map that was portected with password with Pro version.
The problem is thta Xmind do not ask for password anymore and starts with a blank map...
Any idea please ?

Why is the pdf size restricted to 8.5x11"? I want to create a single pdf with the full mind map exploded. There does not appear to be a way to do that.
I upgraded to pro with the impression that I would be able to generate such pdf files.

Since i buyed Xmind 8 (R3.7.1.201612151837), i c'ant use it.
Lags and 22-40 % energy consumption.
So i cannot use it.
There's a couple of month that i've payed for this upgrade.

Bug - delete is messed up badly
MAC with XMind 8... all updated.
In two different occasions already it was not possible anymore to delete the knot in focus with neither backspace, nor the pulldown menu. Instead it deleted each time some completely different knots in another tab of the mindmap file. Because you wonder why it does not delete, you do it some times and only by chance recognize the horrible result. It is not safe to work anymore in big maps, if the delete action is that corrupted!
occasions:
(1) Trying to delete a style in style editing window. ==> XMind silently deletes knots from the underlying Mindmap instead.
(2) Trying to delete knots in one tab ==> XMind silently deletes knots in a different tab.

Error on load internet images
Hello
I would like to report a bug in Version: XMind 8 Update 1 (R3.7.1.201612151837), running on the MacOs operating system.
Whenever an image from the internet is used, and at some point this image can not be recovered (either because the file is no longer there or because there is no connection) xmind can not render the image and freezes the entire worksheet.
I remember this problem occurred in another version, but that had already been fixed.
If you need more information about the problem, I can send them to you.

No response from XMind Support
I am an XMind Pro user.
I have been unable to export to PowerPoint (On Mac OS Sierra).
Other than an initial response questioning if I was a Pro-User ( if your support staff really read the log file I was asked to submit that would be evident) and to tell me to try downloading and reinstalling XMind 8 which did not work, there has been NO further response from support despite my repeated eMails.
Each time I forwarded the LOG FILE and I find it pointless to keep having to re-submit when support remains UN-RESPONSIVE.
One of the primary reasons for opting to subscribe to XMind PRO was the Powerpoint Export feature.
As I am the first user in my company to try XMind with a Pro subscription, I find it impossible to move forward with pro-subscriptions for the other people in my company given the quality of support I have been so far receiving.

I need to be able to embed an interactive Xmind document on a company intranet due to confidential content that cannot be stored or shared from an external solution (like Xmind share). The page needs to retain its interactive features like collapsing and expanding nodes.

capitalization of don't
Strange title capitalization of words like don't.
The text handling is strange for words that have apostrophe in them.
When I type "Don't capitalize don't" it get

Unexpected error
Hello,
I've got an error on screen "Unexpected error encountered (-1). Please try again later" yesterday, when I was trying to save my chart on the XMindCloud. There is no any changes since then. I still can not save my files on the Cloud.
Is there anything what can I do to fix this problem?

My xmind page has listing of companies, contacts and emails for each distributed per marketing geographic area.
To visualize what i am saying consider this:
company>>>> Contact name>>> email address>>> Tel #
The ">>>>" is the connecting line between substopic
when i click on the hyperlink self generated by entering the email address , it leads me to nowhere !
WOuld be great if the Mac Mail oposa up with the "send to" already populated by the address

Xmind icw Citrix
I work in an environment where Citrix is used to control the user workstations.
I asked the ICT department whether it was possible to install Xmind under Citrix, so everyone in this company can use the xmind software.
They came back with the answer that Xmind can not be run under Citrix.
Is this answer correct.
